You would put down better numbers with smaller/lighter tires on. But all you're doing is tricking the dyno at that point. You may as well just ask the dyno operator to put a fudge factor in so it reads 500 rwhp for you at that point. Dyno with whatever you drive on the street. ACWalsh did that years ago on his truck because he wanted to hit 400 so bad, so he bolted on a set of JL's spare 18" L wheels/tires to hit his number. All thats proving is you fooled the dyno (or really the dyno fooled you), he got a lot of ball busting for that one lol.

Even on my race tune I've alway dynoed on my street wheels/tires. I've been interested to see what it would be with my hoosier and bogarts on since thats what I run at the track.

There were some show cars around here that were "tricking" the dyno to fudge their numbers so they could have that big ol dyno sheet sitting next to their car on the show circuit.

I def agree on this one. EVERY dyno is different and so many calculations and adjustments go into it you cant really look at the numbers for comparison. Head to the track and post your results. Thats where the real bragging rights come from anyway.

You may need to re-phrase your first post as I'm having difficulty interpreting what you mean. Do you want the back end to be a different shape or do you just want to be able to spin out in it?
