    #2199 rear ended

Ok so back to the Bodyshop. Was traveling down highway on way to work. Car in front of me slammed on breaks. I then hit my breaks. The toto tires stoped very impressively I must say. I then took my breath and looked in rearview mirror to see the person behind me not so lucky. Guess I didn't have luck of Irish today. No Irish in my blood. O well we both were ok. That's all that matters. Deff needing of new tailgate , rollpan, and pass fender. Whole rear end is Gunna end up getting repainted I know that. What are my options for rollpans? Don't think I want the SS again. Any other recommendations u guys have on what to do? If I can get some money out of this it would help a lot.

You may need to re-phrase your first post as I'm having difficulty interpreting what you mean. Do you want the back end to be a different shape or do you just want to be able to spin out in it?

Not sure on what other roll pan to look into but I am sure there are lots of options out there.

As for extra money, you could do what a lot of people do here in Florida, specifically south Fl. Hire a lawyer on contigency to see what he can get for you. Most people who have insurance have the $10,000 PIP so they will go for that first...33% to him, 67% to you. After that, unless you really are hurt...you can't get anything else.

Now that I have said that...is that the right thing to do...NO, but is it legal. YES. Use your ethics on deciding what you would do.

Only time I have gone this route, was when I got hit and that is when it gave me my spinal injuries.

Sorry to see that happen. I reallly like the look of a nice roll pan, but the level of damage to the rear is the primary reason I won't install one. Could always add a roll pan hitch and put a long ball mount w/ball in it when driving to and from work or when taking other high risk drives. Would probably make some drivers back off and increase their following distance. Definately should help in most parking lots.

That sucks! DG Motorsports has a nice roll pan. Probably one of the best fitting rollpans IMO.

Sucks to see the truck in those conditions.
