This month’s winner has been with the NHTOC since March of 2008. It is definitely safe to say that this month’s winner is another well deserved win, not only because of what he has done to benefit the site & his truck, but like so many that have come before him, he has proudly served/chose to serve again protecting us & his country in the U.S. Army.

An avid poster of interesting topics, full of questions, and an all around HD fanatic like the rest of us who has taken his truck from stock to the sometimes (as he calls her) “biatch” that she has become. Currently residing in GA, his truck like so many others is that constant work in progress with aspirations to become an even greater terror on the streets. Let’s just hope his previous escapades with a certain “beer loving then work on the truck” somebody (cough, cough, tweek, cough, cough) hasn’t influenced this month’s winner too much…of course, that could lead to some pretty interesting threads.

I am sure that everyone can’t wait to see what is next for this person/truck and want to welcome him over to the east coast. There is no doubt we will have ample opportunity to meet up with him and his truck at the next GTG. So with that comes another great addition to the saga of Truck of the Month.

Let me be the first to congratulate our May 2011 TOTM winner, member #682, Kenneth “spy98der1” Paschall and his 2002 Black Harley F150 build #01363.

Question # 1: What sparked your interests in the Harley trucks?
Specifically your HD Truck
?

Well….. I’ve liked them since they came out but being a new guy in the army I could never afford it….. I re- enlisted in 07 and got a nice bonus so I had that burning a hole in my pocket for a while, I wasn’t really in the market for one at the time cause I knew that were extremely hard to find, well, I just happened to be going down the highway and looked over and there she was, I dropped my down payment and the next day she was mine.

Question # 2: Any interesting stories behind the history of vehicles
you've owned leading up to the HD truck or how you got it?

Not really I’ve sort of been all around the spectrum of rides, my first car was an 84 f250, then a Probe GT, then I watched fast and the furious in 2000 and bought the biggest mistake of my life, a damn eclipse, after that a rodeo then a ranger. I was looking for a Tacoma and had one in Dallas waiting ( I was in Washington about to go in leave ) and like I said I was driving by and there she was

Question # 3: Give me a rough list of the mods that have been done to your truck. I know you've got a lot done, so you can just list your favorites if you'd like!

Hmmm, my favorites….got to go with the noise makers… I love my Comp-R and my #6 lower and 2.93 upper combo… the Hotchkis TVS with JLP shackles and Belltech spindles, polished C&l elbow and wrinkle coated blower case and C&l plenum, I would say my favorite would be my SVT snout that took me a week to polish….yeah that was a good choice… I try and go unique as possible but with a community this small it’s really hard to be creative..

Question # 4: Tell us a little about yourself. Your other hobbies, your job, your favorite past time, whatever!

Well before I could even think about driving I was wrenching in the garage with my old man, whether it was grandpas classics, or one of our many classic VW’s I was there, I built my first motor at 13 of course it was a Bug motor but still, as for now I’m either working on the HD, fishing, or something to keep out of trouble, I’ve been in Ga for a couple months so main concern is finding more HD or L guys. As for the job, I’ve been in the army for about 12 years and been deployed 5 times, in at Ft Benning Ga as an instructor for new equipment the Army is trying to field.

Question # 5: You've been a member on the site for a while now, what is one of the best things you like about the site that keeps you around?

The people, I was never fans of forums but these guys have tons of info and I’ve also met some really good dudes here, ( tweek ) was my road dog for a couple months, we spent some good time drinking and under both our trucks… it’s all crazy how things happen, I don’t know where I would be at the moment if I wasn’t drinking that night back in hmmmm Feb 08.…I was watching you tube vids and came across (sIcks) videos, sent him and email through you tube, started talking on myspace and the mods started happening, I was already about 3000 deep in to mods but wasn’t happy, he told me about this site and fast forward 3 years later and here we are

Question # 6: What is one suggestion to help make the site a better place?

I’m still learning so before I would say the navigation, a lot of dudes instead will say look up this thread on this issue and from there it can be hard to find, and really I wouldn’t even change that that’s my own fault ha-ha, really though I would change a thing, good info and good people, minus the occasional douche that finds his way on and talks crap but you can’t control that….

Question # 7:
This is where I normally ask about where you decided on your screen name and any specific reason for choosing it?

I was in Afghanistan, and learned how to email, I couldn’t think of anything for my name so just went with the car I was driving at the time, 98 spyder… so spy98der ha-ha since then it stuck, and I don’t want 900 names and passwords to remember

Question # 8: Almost at the end, what is in the future for your truck?, so what’s the next plan of attack for your trucks future?!

that’s easy, BUILT!! Ha-ha I’m shooting to have a JLP stage 3 long block within a few months, run that on the stock blower for a while then go to a KB 2.6.… then paint… she’s beautiful but beginning to show her age

Question 9: Last and final question, just an open end question for if you had anything else you wanted to mention that I didn't have a question for...here's the place to go at it! Your web site link, a plug for something, etc. etc. whatever you want to throw in!

When’s the next GTG in the GA / Fl area ha-ha …I really don’t have anything I’m just glad to be here and glad to have won….
