    MGP Brake Caliper Covers

Well, I finally got around to putting these caliper covers on yesterday. I've seen guys paint their calipers but the color still tends to flake off and fades after awhile. These are T6 aerospace aluminum and powdercoated so they improve the looks but don't give any performance gains. As for weight, they really only weigh but a few ounces and are supposed to reduce brake dust getting on the rims.

    Here's a couple of pics.

I cleaned the back side of the wheels with Eagle One Never Dull and just waxed them a few years ago. They stay pretty good if you just stick your brush thru the spokes of the rim each time you wash it and knock the heft of the brake dust and crud buildup off. I just had to wipe them off again this time and wax them back up. I was surprised myself that it was that easy.

Go here to look at other choices. www.calipercovers.com

Mike, yeah you can get just about any color, including your own custom graphics put on them. It's a licensed Ford logo too. Plus they do all other vehicles too.

Well, since I haven't popped for Brembo's yet, this looks a hell of a lot better than ugly stock calipers at the car shows and GTG's!
