    Aftermarket door speakers!

Hey guys, what are the best door speakers you recommend? I have an amp and the current speakers are shot. Thanks guys! I heard Pioneer is good. What size fits out 2003 Screws?

5"x7" / 6"x8" Infiniti or JL Audio are good speakers.

IMPORTANT: The depth is a very important factor.

IMHO how a speaker sounds is personal taste.
Audition speakers for sound and depth specs.
I spent a couple of weeks going to stores.
I took my CD's and listened to speakers.
Vendors change models all the time.

Merlin is correct. Every speaker sounds different to different people. I've been using Pioneer speakers since 1978 without complaint. I put the Rev series 2way 6X8's in my '02 HD a few years ago. I did have to build a spacer for the rears due to the depth of speakers, or lack of depth in rear doors, I forget which.

I have looked at speakers for a while and I have decided on Infinit. They sound good to me over all. Pioneer has some that I liked as well.

Wait which one do we put in the 5x7 or 6X8? Or does it not matter?

From what I understand they are the same, 6"x9" are different and do not fit.

I've been very happy with my phoenix gold components, especially for the price.

i have HERTZ speakers (HERTZ by Elettromedia - Special Car Stereo)

On radio power the were just OK, but once i put an amp on the the came to life.

i use the ESK 570 in the front and ECX 570 in the rear.

i like the better than the JL audios that I've used in past vehicles
