he just got this truck from a guy bout a month ago.
it has 44'' interco superswampers on it. and a 8'' lift way to big of tires if you ask me.
hes the question his 4x4 dont work
i told him not to buy the truck without having a mechanic do a inspection on it. but he didnt listen.
so here are the simptoms
first you can turn the selector switch from 2wd to 4wd and you hear the transfer engage. but u drive it for like 10 feet and u smack the gas on gravel just the back tires spin.
no front action. bummer right.
well you put it back in 2wd and back up to unlock the transfer you can spin the drive shaft and the passenger side cv spings but the driver side dont. you can sping the passenger side cv by hand and you cant spin the driver side. he is thinking that it has a spun auto locking hub.
what do you guys think?
yes the front drive turns when you lock it in 4x4
question is do you think its a spun hub?
