Well, after having my truck for almost 2 years I finally got 'er on the dyno. There was a diesel dyno event in Kentucky and I entered it just to get a number. The dyno was a Mustang (which I have been told reads quite a bit lower than a DynoJet) at Thoroughbred Diesel. I ended up 4th out of about 30 trucks in the stock class. Put down 491hp and 1006lb/ft. Not too bad for a big ole 450 with 47K on the fuel filter! I'm gonna check it on a DynoJet in the near future with a fresh fuel filter. Curious to see the difference in the dynos. 3 out of the top 5 were 6.4 Fords. 1st was 566/1150, third was 501/1001, then mine. Second was a Duramax with 507/10xx, and fifth was a Cummins. It was a pretty good time! Anyone who reads any of the diesel mags - we should be in "Diesel World" and "8 Lug" Magazines within the next few months.
