Double Din Headunit

well.. i put my double din Pioneer in my harley tonight.. and let me tell you.. PAIN IN THE BUTT... i did a lot of trimming to get it to fit but I'm happy with it.. just gotta do a lil more tweaking ... but if anyone has one of the extra trims that comes with the double din kit i need one.. i broke mine by tightening the screws down too much.. which blows.. but ill get some pics tomorrow when its light out.. it looks good though..

AVH-P4100 it came out nicely.. but im not happy with the surround since it got broke.. and i gotta do a little more trimming on the dash peice ... ill get some pics this afternoon

well i went out to get some pics tonight when i got home... but of course.. grab the camera and its dead... and now its dark.. so as soon as its charged some ill go out and snap some pics of the finish product with the flash.. i finished it in the mean time and i might as well say its bad for sure.. works perfect now.. i used my phone but they are dark..

hey draggin what did you use around the headunit? is that the original piece that came with the radio? i installed a double din on my hd but the tight fit between the radio and the housing of the truck won't allow the trim to fit

the best kit to use is the metra double din install kit for our trucks, it holds tighter because it bolts to the hvac controller and is a nice fit/finish.
