    EBC brake pads

Hi guys had some brake pads put on the rear of my truck about a year ago. And the brake dust really attacked the chrome. Fronts were probably original and were ok. So decided to get greenstuff EBC pads for both front and rear. And for some reason are worse, they are listed as low dust. But even a reasonably small trip the dust builds up and if left for a bit they really tarnish the chrome. Thought it may have been the bedding in coating. Just wondered if anyone else has used these and how they have found them

I use the ceramic pads for that same reason. Maybe try the EBC red pads. I have found that they are the lowest in giving off that nasty brake dust and still give good stopping performance.

I'm sure there are other pads that give superior stopping performance but that will come with increased brake dust too.

I also waxed the inside and outside of my rims so it is harder for the brake dust to stick to.

EBC green stuff pads here, and they dusted significantly less than my factory OEM pads.
