ide love some new arm rest covers for my 00...the drivers side one is in bad shape after 12 years
By seat covers do you mean a slip cover to protect the seat or new leather?
If your looking for new leather I'd suggest a good upholstery shop, Fords covers are hard to find and very expensive, a good upholstery shop will do a better job at a fraction of a new covers price.
looking to protect the leather. Has anyone tried the wet okole's on a harley. I've seen plenty on lightnings.
Wet Okole used to make some for the Harleys but that was years ago. they looked and fit great.
i'm really leaning toward ordering a set of the wet okole's, I would love to see a pic of them installed first.
Check out Katzkins
Black Molly, have you tried Katzkins ? Or seen them in person on some seats?Curios...?
We have used them and Classic Soft Trim for replacment leather or cloth upgrades, both make great products.
I bought a set of the Wet Okole seat covers at the H-D dealer that were the black/gray H-D logo covers when they still made them. They don't look too bad. I only had them installed for a few months for when I was having a bunch of work done to the truck but then removed them. I might have a pic somewhere.
02 H-D, did you have front and rear covers? I called wet okole and asked about the HD logo and the said that they don't have one. They said if i find an HD patch they could sew them on while making them.
I emailed Katzkin about buying just armrest covers but they never responded to me
Just had the fronts. Had rear seats removed at the time. Besides, I don't think they ever made any for the bench or smaller buckets in the rear of the trucks.
I apparently did not take any pics of them when I had them installed. I probably have them boxed-up in the parts loft of the shop. If I do, I will take one out and shoot a couple pics. Okole are very good quality and they didn't look too bad. They definitely helped protect the leather. I would suspect they might be a good option especially if the truck is used as DD. Personally, I do not drive the truck very often and prefer the actual interior appearance and being able to more easily service (leather balm) the seat skins.
If a manufacturer will sew in an appropriate patch, you could certainly identify an tasteful/appropriate patch at the H-D dealer. I am somewhat surprised that the mfg would be willing to do so ... most mfgs will not because of copyright infringement issues.

I spoke with wet okole and they said they make the covers for the rear seats also. my HD is a DD so i ordered a set for the front and rear. they also come with front and rear console covers. they said it'll take about 3 weeks to make.
