Well it's been years since I released a new concept car photochop (you can view my old ones here), including this modified Harley Davidson edition, so I decided to try my hand at another appearance/performance package for the F-150. I know it's not going to appeal to everyone's tastes, but here's what I envisioned for a more focused, performance-oriented version of Ford's current SuperCrew (perhaps a spiritual successor to the 5.4SC Harley-Davidson since we still can't have a new Lightning):
Behold the 2012 Lariat Unlimited!
Mild cosmetic modifications include:
- 24x11" polished twisted-spoke wheels
- Revised hood with raised cowl
- Silver ghost racing stripes
- Matte graphite-colored grill
- LED daytime driving lights
- Revised side marker lights and mirror reflectors
- Deeper front fascia with integrated brake cooling ducts
- Rocker/sill extensions
- "Unlimited" badges on bed sides
Mechanical modifications might include:
- Lowered sport suspension
- Big brake kit
- Supercharged 6.2-liter V8
- True dual exhaust with X-pipe
Harley enthusiasts can imagine Ford adapting this to include more chrome trim and appropriate Harley Davidson graphics.
