Huh?
The valance is recessed especially for the fogs. If you moved them out to fit flush with the leading edge of the valance then there would be about a 1/2" gap all the way around the lense and the hole as the opening at the front of the valance is larger than at the back where they mount to. You'd have to get the larger 3.5-4" round fogs for that to look decent IMHO.
Hey guys, I had to buy some brackets off Ebay and the TYC lights, since my truck didn't have the OEM one's when i bought the truck,I went to Advance and got some license plate mounting kits and here's the pics of the job,Hope this helps anyone needing to do the same. This site rocks, thanks to all who help and post. I hope this helps anyone doing the fix. If you have any questions, just shoot me a note. Keith

I ordered these back in July and just got them installed this weekend. Piece of cake. Now I need to swap out the bulbs to better match my 9k headlights. Headlights are white and fogs look yellow so I need to fix that before it drives me insane.
I went almost a year with no fogs and forgot how awesome they really are. I appreciate the cheap fix!

hmm, there's really nothing "white" about 9k color temp rated lights.
Thanks for posting this OP. Wanted hid's and one of my stock bulbs is blown so I ordered some of these with some hid's to match my headlights. Plan on doing the fog light mod.
Ok. I got my fogs and hid kit, but I don't know how to get these fogs to bolt to my current bracket. Is there another bracket I need to get them to bolt up? My factory fogs only have three bolt holes, but the new fogs have four.
2.93 Upper, 6# Lower, LFP CAI, Ported Blower and Plenum, SBTB, FTVB, 4.10 gear, 60# injectors, dual 255 pumps, Meth Injection, JDM tune, LFP Heat Exchanger, Oil Seperator, Bassani Catback w/no cats, Granatelli MAF
You should be able to unbolt the OEM fogs from the bracket and the new ones should bolt right back into the same bracket unless they didn't send you the right ones.

The fogs you had on your truck look like projector type fogs and they are not OEM on these trucks. What year is your truck again?
If you want to mount the new fogs you will need a set of OEM brackets too. I think people have found that the STX models fit our trucks too and are less expensive than the Harley ones.
Here are some pics of when I installed my Roush fogs into OEM brackets and then added the HID bulbs.

Did not use this pigtail that also came with the kit.
