I am building a Fiberglass box for the back of my 02.. its gonna hold 3 12s.. heres what i got done today.. hope to have it done SOON...

Here is some more.. i got it finished up with the wood work side of it and bolted in the truck.. using stock mounting points for the console..

the top and bottom sub will be regular and the middle will be inverted.. to act as a "arm rest"



and here is one out the truck.. i still have to go router the rings.. but other than that its ready to be glassed...

here is whats going in the box.. i have 4 but I'm only using 3 (as seen above) so one is for sale.. new in box they are still in the shipping boxes..

Just a update..

i got it fleeced and the first layer of Resin put on it.. i would put a picture but i was being cheap and used my cousins old blanket so its a lil embaressing... but its coming along..

you better keep that extra speaker for a bit, if you run those @ 2ohms and have a good amp you may just need it. Great looking box, are you going to reverse mount that center speaker?.would look kool as hell. Whats the cubic feet of the box going to end up being?, any idea?..have you chosen your amps yet?.if not you may want to check into some older hi-phonics ZED builts, or something along those lines. Huge power, which your going to need to make those hit, and the off-branded ones can be gotten at decent prices. Good job and keep us all in the loop!...and yea.more pics!

yeah I'm still working on it.. i haven't had time to lay more glass till today.. and i have no idea what the footage is.. i built it for looks.. and yes I'm inverting the center one.. its perfect hight to act as a armrest.. and I am gonna be running them at like 2.6ohms.. I'm probably gonna use a eclipse amp because it will match the one thats already in there... well see though.. i haven't figured it out.. i have several around the house here.. and if not my dad is a dealer and i can get stuff good deals from him.. ill have some pics in a few days.. as soon as the resin dries good and i can put the back and bottom back on..

Can't wait to see this finsihed. How much would you charge to build a box just like this that is flush with the back window, to hold 4 10s?

probably 300 or so depending on how far u wanted to take i got probably 200+ in materials so far not counting getting it wrapped.. stuff is expensive..

well i might be asking for a box too after i see how yours turns out!! we need someone who can build these things for our HDs....

well i kept the template for mine.. i worked on it some yesterday.. its coming along.. i will post pics when its done.. time is coming..

well lmk because if it uses the stock mounting points i would love to have you make me one but with just two 12s lol im not looking to blow out my ear drums.... kinda excited to see how it comes out.

I'm trying to get mine done.. but work is crazy.. were getting a new truck so we are 1 truck down.. so I'm having to pick up slack.. not getting off when i suppose too.. GOD i can't wait for the new one to be here..
