Started and let her idle for 30 mins (twice) to keep juices flowing and AC operating.
Washed and waxed her and put her back in the garage. Waiting on the weather to get back nice. Put two coats of Nufinish on it.
I finally got around to changing the intake coupling hoses & connectors from blue to black

Nice! I like the sock too. Where did you get that?
Oh and BTW...weren't you going to look into getting the C&L elbow done with hydrographics from that guy we saw at Towers?
It looks like you've spent some time to have it polished a bit more than others I've seen.....like my rough *** one!
I ordered the K&N cover from the folks at The Drivers Seat
I see you noticed the the shine on the C&L Intake Elbow?
Yes, I took some metal polish and a small 4" pad on the DA.
It took about 10 minutes to do. I kinda like it looking shiny.
I didn't even take it off to do it. I polished it mounted in place.
I could have done it more but I wasn't thrilled with the splatter.

I looked at a LOT of patterns and still have not found one that I really like so here's what happened.
I hooked up with a new NHTOC member at the Citi Center car show and he purchased a C&L intake elbow.
I saw it installed on his truck and it was shiny! I said "What did you do to get it that way?" He said "It's new."
That got me thinking...I've never seen a new one so maybe...just maybe it can polish up and it can look nice.
It was easy to do but the metal polish splattered everywhere. Cover you engine with old towels first before polishing.
Looks a hell of a lot better now. When mine was new it was never shiny. They used to come with a very rough cast finish on the outside but the inside ported area is where the performance is.
I know you and shiny things though!
I drove her for the first time in over a month. Felt good to smoke some rubber. Needs a bath really bad after the hurricane and snow fall though. Probably going to put the stock wheels back on this weekend and give her a bath. Then she is getting covered back up again.
did the smoke test to find vac leak no luck my reader still says bank 1 to lean oh yea made my last payment on
