Anyone got any good pic of how you cut your fender flares/flairs?

My truck is rubbing a bit when going over bumps or deep potholes since I am lowered with lowering spindles. However, it is whole another story when I go from turn to turn slowly, the plastic flare catch into the tires (at least that is what I think it is) and then it would snap back into place. It gets annoying considering it is pretty loud. Turning ability is not affected at all, just that it seems like the plastics keep catching into the tire and snapping back, which I am trying to get rid of. I have read this thread, but all of the pictures are outdated. Wanted to see if I could see some pics for reference before I cut up my fender flares?

So weird you just posted this i just lowered mine this morning and i believe mine are rubbing too let me know what you find out

No, this is not a lightning repo. It is a strip with the outer 3 LED on each side are 6k and the Middle is red for brake light. I gave up on lightning one. It looks good though.

Great that makes two of us! Hope someone chimes in with some pics in the meantime. I hope to cut them damn fender flares this weekend if possible.

Lol that fender cutting thread brings back memories. I do not remember how much was cut either. What I would do is put some tape on there and see where it rubs exactly and trim. Would definately cut in small increments till it was right. Good luck and get some pics so others can see

I have that smoked Ebay light too. Its no L light but it looks better than my faded, cracked and full of moisture stock one.

What he said. NOT Lightning, just Ebay. LED, CHEAP no leaks, looks better than stock.Mine is smoked.Looks good.
