Apparently you can just screw a plug in it from the inside and just block it off so you never have to worry about those hoses again. Do a search for turkey pan block off or plug.

Good for you! Keep those miles down.

Hopefully you've checked for cracks in the sidewalls of those OEM tires as sometimes they tend to dry rot after so many years?

I sprayed down the entire tread on my 4x4 with Nitto Extreme Force 404 tires on it and couldn't figure out where in the he11 they were leaking.
It had sat for 6 years while I waited to do a refurb on it from flooding during hurricane Ivan. i finally found the leak in a crack in the sidewalls. The tread looked great but the dang things had dry rotted!

I finished changing the plugs in my truck. Easy but not so easy. I didn't take nothing off or apart. The 7mm swivel was helpful. I was trying to debate should I torque the plugs or just snug them down. Not sure is the blowouts due to over torqued plugs with the 3 or 4 threads or not torqueing. Truck runs a lot better. I got rid of that annoying ticking noise. I'm thinking about going back in and just torqueing the plugs. What do y'all think.
