What's the part number l on the Timken replacements? Assume you have the same carrier bearing as other 02/03 Harley's?

Turns out the carriers I got were incorrect so I am converting it to one piece, found this super rare driveshaft at a wrecker, just gotta swap the front input shaft.

My truck has been broke for 7 wks, fuel pumps shorted, got new ones not fixed- checked secutity system..ok, got new computer ... Not fixed; talked to a lightning guy at Ford dealer and relayed the info to the mechanic last week about resistor up front and be sure vacuum line is connected to pressure sensor on drive side of fuel rail ........ If not those then maybe fuel pump delivery module under spare tire ..... So now I wait

Did you check the fuel pump reset on the relay located in the front passenger side kick panel?

My plan is to either carry a spare aluminum driveshaft with u-joints or have another 2 piece made that will take an available off the shelf carrier. Either way I have to carry spares, I am doing a big trip next month from Reno to Vegas all via dirt.

Please let us know how it sounds...Louder, Exhaust note, inside cab (drone) noise at 35 (in town) and 70 (highway) etc.?

Agree. I'd like to to know how it sounds in the cab at 2K rpm cruising around. My magnaflow setup is great, but too loud for me. I'm debating getting that exact Bassani you have or the lightning version.

Bassani is louder than Magnaflow. All I have is a Bassani catback, and everyone swears I run a full exhaust. For a catback only setup, it's quite loud.

Is yours the Harley setup or Lightning? I've heard people say the Harley setup is louder. I'm not afraid of loud, just don't want the drone that I get now with my setup. Would love to cruise at 70/2K rpm and not feel like I'm in a helicopter.

Not sure as it was on the truck when I bought it, but it's Lightning style exit. I dont know why either one would be louder, I imagine they use the same muffler. There is a little drone, but no chop-chop sound when cruising.
