Replaced the transmission shifter rod sleeve bushings with new OEM bushings (part# F3TZ-7L278-A) and tightened/Lock-Tite the bolts that are notorious for backing out and causing slop in the shifter. The shifter is much tighter now.

Glad to hear it worked! How is your steering? Perhaps there are bushings to make that also feel like new again.

SoCal Waite and I rebuilt Heidi's front end a little over a year ago so the front end and steering is tight.

So after pulling a P0171 code and some knowledge from some great fellow HD owners. Pulled the blower, plenum etc cleaned the intercooler, turkey pan and plugged the turkey pan while at it in hopes of getting rid of the code. It worked!! thanks to help of a fellow HD In my area I was able to get this issue resolved and also met a great fellow HD owner. I also got a chance to foam cannon it with my new toys. I used a honeydew foam soap from Chemical Guys and did the two bucket method, my first time using the cannon so I have some more to learn. Also to clean the intercooler Power Purple seemed to work the best to get all that junk out of it FYI. Also I found the plug at a local hardware store in the plumbing section.IMG_3120.jpgEBBH8061.jpgIMG_3124.jpgIMG_3125.jpgIMG_3127.jpgIMG_3135.jpgIMG_3143.jpg

^ Great Job! The I/C looks clean as a whistle.

Never been a big CG honeydew foam soap fan.
What do you have a foam gun or foam cannon?

Thanks, Cannon I think there is better one out there that produces more foam, the picture is after letting it sit for about five minutes.

Looks nice Benny. Better than I remember while you were still here in SD. Did you polish the paint since moving to TX?

Glad to hear you got your trouble code issue resolved too.

The truck cleans up great Benny. Now you just need to touch up the engine bay. With a little Simple Green and Vinylex and less than 20 minutes your engine bay can look damn near factory clean.

What setup do you have? Pressure washer, Cannon make/model etc.?

I've become a big fan of Sonus Trim and Motor Kote for a finishing product.
I leaves a nice matte finish (showroom new look) and it's not greasy.
