Did a few things with the truck today:
1.) Installed an Alpine IVA-W205 system
-had to use a rotary tool to cut the slot behind the dash cover so the system fit
-since our factory radio is tapered, i also had to remove a small plastic piece that was behind the factory radio because it was at an angle and the new one is a rectangle
-night vision back up cam
-dvd playing capability, bluetooth, mp3
-has a slot when the screen flips down to plug in alpine's portable gps (alpine blackbird) and that activates navigation. (im going to getting that portable gps)
2.) Painted the wiper cowl vent
-it was so aged and just ticked me off
-just used some stain black paint for plastic
3.) Painted my third brake light cover
-originally polished
-i had it plastidipped but no matter how many times i did it, it was always rough (yes, i know how to plastidip, I've dipped a million things so i don't know what the issue was)
-Ill get a picture of it installed in daylight tomorrow, it got too dark to see
4.) Painted my hood dampers
5.) LED swap for reverse and third brake
6.) TIRE PAINT!!
-had this done before. had to redo due to fading
-saw hankook racing tires with the orange logo so i decided to match it (rather than all white like i originally had)

Hard to see here, but my calipers are orange like yours too.

Have to take her out for another photo shoot now that I have the rear out of the sky...though I'll prolly wait till I have the 1/2" isolators out of the front too..
yeah man your truck is really nice. I love the murdered out look but it needs some....zest! thats where the orange comes in.
Need some daytime pics of those painted tires.
I put my upper grille block-off on last night, and fabbed up a windshield support brace for my lexan windshield. Ready for race day!
Changed my oil, fixed some rust on the fender apron under the battery and fixed my O/D switch short....
Nitrous tb spacer Arrived. Probably never use nitrous but it was cheap and rare part. anyone wanna guess where the box is going to go.
Cleaned mine up yesterday for it to get rained on when I drove to MB last night. Grrr
