I installed led headlights replacing hid, need to modify the fogs a little for them to work. Also reverse lights and of course, washed it.

I got them through Diesel Cartel. they are nice quality. They have cooling fans on the back and are plug and play. I'll take pics today and post.

    00-01 are smooth faced
    02-03 have the fake bolts

on the backside of them, they mount to the wheels differently, the 00-01 style matches what the 22" replica wheels used. The 02-03 style don't fit the 22" replica wheels I have.

Trying to air mine out.....g-kids car seats had that "oh so amazing" aroma. Someone that white vinegar and water spray would be good. Wrong!!! Truck smells like a damn dead fish stick. Next wonderful idea was baking soda. Worked not so good and got everywhere when I rolled the windows down. So vacuum that mess up and pull the seats, they are soaking and windows have been cracked for two days.

How is the light output compared to what you had before (stock bulbs?)

I'm considering them rather than a retrofit if they put out more even light than stock.

    Which ones did you get?

I had HID lights before. They had a little more blue tint. These are like a very clean, bright light. I'll have the fogs in a day or two. I bought them from Super Duty LED Headlight Packages

My buddy runs this. I have a thing for LED lights. Bright, clean looking, long lasting, and efficient.

So is the light output the same, or better than the old HID setup you had? What about the beam pattern, does it have 'bright spots' and dim areas like plug'n'play HID kits do in the stock headlights of these trucks?

Which kit did you get? I don't see our headlight bulb size listed, just H13 and H10.

The light in my opinion is a little less bright than my old hid, but it looks cleaner. I think it just doesn't travel as far. But I'm not running my fogs either. I like the led better. Hid take about 45 seconds to warm up. Also, when I lock the truck, the hid would flash, and sounded like electric surge when they did. Led will not have that problem. They turn on instantly, and last way longer. You may have to email josh cause he will have to order them.
