Got back from a wee 4 month stint at an undisclosed Middle East location the other day - truck not looking so good! 2 flat tyres, spare on, flat battery and covered in bird ****! Got on it today for the first time with my Christmas present - a Meguiars DA polisher! Should have had one of these years ago! Clayed, polished and waxed the bonnet (hood), tonneau and passenger side before the heavens opened! Looking better already. New battery should arrive in a couple of days.

Will take some pics Merlin - once my 1 and 3 year old, wifes work shifts, and Scottish weather all align to give me the opportunity to finish what I started! Got a wee bit more done today though (1 hours worth!).

Got a new battery fitted today (after a 10 day supplier farce) and started it up for the 1st time since February. Got 2 perished tyre valves changed and took it out for a wee spin. Tyres all flat spotted to hell for the first 10 miles - smoothed out and all running nicely now. Fitted 2 Recaro Polarics in the back ready for next weeks 500 mile round tripper down south to Glasgow! Delighted!

Finally lubed myself up and took the bullet to order a set of OE replacement center caps for my 22's after two of the ones that came with the replica wheels fell off and were damaged.

Expensive, but worth it. These are OE `01/`02 caps I think, got them off ebay for about $200 for the set But at least they do look better than the replica caps that had stickers in the center.

I have 1 good replica cap, not sure I would like to sell though. They're ~$50/ea on ebay for the OE ones that I got.

I believe my center caps have 5 or 6 circular bolt head things on them..were there 2 styles or are mine not OEM? Just curious
