This is a quite different LSP than my normal "show car" Last Step Products.
I would consider this more of a repellent product than I would a concours show wax.
The manufacturer (big brand name) states it repels tree sap, acid rain, bird waste. insects, UV etc.
The manufacturer also so states it will last 5 years...but I'm not sure about the product longevity.
"...a clear liquid that is applied to the clear coat of your vehicle. Unlike traditional waxes and sealants that simply “coat the surface,”
It chemically reacts and cross-links to the surface for the clear coat to form a three-dimensional network.
The end result is an extremely clear, tough and durable ceramic film that adheres so strongly to the clear coat that not even organic solvents can remove it.
When applied to your vehicle, it polymerizes the clear coat of your vehicle and forms a unique ceramic glass resin."
I have applied it to my Daily Driver and this is the results...
Application:
I Dawn washed, clayed and washed the car. This was to insure no prior surface products.
I used a cotton pad applicator poured a little on the pad & wiped front to back on the hood.
It is a very thin liquid (almost like water) and felt super slick when being applied to the paint.
Back to front on the hood and top to bottom on the sides. Wipe on, let haze, wipe right off.
I waited until it hazed to a purple, similar to what a soapy water looks like, then removed it.
I used a quality microfiber towel for removal. I found it only slightly stubborn in a few areas.
All in all it probably was the easiest product to apply and remove that I have EVER used.
Apply to a panel with straight overlapping strokes. Let haze to light purple and wipe off.
From what I understand that's it. No cure time (just 5 minutes) unlike traditional polymers.
10 minutes all done!
Look and feel when I finished.
A slight slick feel, not over slick but not grabby (squeaky clean) like some other "coatings".
It has a nice shiny gloss. Not Saran Wrap shiny or the depth and warmth of a fine Carnuaba.
Longevity and Durability:
For me and this application it's too early to tell. If it lasts as long as the claims I'll be happy.
Warnings
There are a few warnings on the bottle you need to be aware of. Highly flammable, toxic etc.
Also noted is the requirement that it can ONLY be applied in the shade out of direct sunlight.
So wear gloves if it makes you comfortable. Don't take internally and ONLY apply in the shade.
This stuff actually sheets water. It is not for tiny beads. Oh Boy another picture of water beads!
NOTE: It started to lightly rain about 20 minutes after I applied it and here's what it looked like.
Do you want someting that repels water and does not leave spots like traditional car wax?
If you want something that sheets water and protects your paint's finish then this is for you.
If you don't enjoy washing your truck every weekend to keep it looking good then this is for you.
BTW - It's been almost a month since I applied it to my DD and it still sheets water like crazy.
I finally washed my vehicle today. It had stayed clean looking. I did it to see the water sheeting.

Now to the FUN part! I've done the LSP Giveaway thing before and the rules are the same.
One condition:
Winner needs to try it on their vehicle and report a mini-review.
IMHO This is an expensive product. One 2oz bottle will only do one vehicle.
However, if it lasts 5 years (as claimed) then it is actually inexpensive to use.
NOTE:
Once the winner is chosen I will send them the product to apply and review.
When they send me the review via PM I will disclose the LSP name in this thread.
What I'm looking for in a mini review...
Application (easy- difficult)
Removal (easy - difficult)
Appearance (Look and feel)
Properties (sheeting - beading etc.)
RULES:
Only ONE post per person. After the winner is chosen they have 24 hours to claim their prize.
Winner will be chosen at random...(yes, we've played this game before.)
HOW TO WIN:
Make one post in this thread that says..."I want to win the mystery LSP and I will review it!"
