Best Oil Choice For E85?

As some of you guys might already know, E85 reacts differently with oil than standard pump gas and will break the oil down down faster.

My tuner advised me to change my oil a lot more often to prevent issues and is recommending Amsoil synthetic after break in.

I did a little reading and Mobil recommends trying Mobil 1 Turbo Diesel Truck 5W-40 as it is based on HD diesel technology, which contains additional over-based detergents for acid neutralization. ASK MOBIL

For those of you that have been running E85, what oil are you using and are you having any issues?

I run the Mobil 1 fully syn 5w30 in mine. no issues. havent really thaught bout switching cause its all i run in my truck sence i got it. that 5w40 oil they recamend sounds like the 5w30 fully syn, just with more detergents. of which can only better for longer oil life and not as quick break down.

I just might switch to that cause theres a place down the road off fox that sells corn.
