    Question!!!!

So, I recently installed my 6 lb lower, the new tr6's and a mail order tune, well I went to the track and hit a 14.2? Isn't that almost stock numbers? I feel like something is wrong, any suggestions? I.c pump is working and my Intercooler was cleaned about 5000 miles ago. I'm so confused

Nothings wrong per say. That isnt an abnormal time, but it could be much better. You could get a lot more out of the tune.

Post the slip so we can see what the times and speed are in increments.

Street tires, 90* outside, mail order tune...sounds about right to me.

The tune could use some tweaking, hense the rec for a dyno tune. Once you have a dyno tune or do proper data-logging your tuner would have no problem tweaking a mail order update for you.

Did it feel like you spun?
    How did you launch?
    Do you have traction bars?

6# lower, tune for mid to low 13's ---> maybe in a L with other supporting mods
HD --> High to mid-high 13's is what I would expect due to extra weight

.4538 reaction and 2.1838 60' = you need more practice

but your trap speed and mph at ~5200lbs means you're making about 360hp at the wheels.

A little. Mine at full weight is 5450. This is with a hard tonneau, but without hitch, spare, sway bars front & back, hotchkis rear springs (stock are heavier). I recently removed the tonneau, back seats, pass seat, nerf bars, subwoofer, rubber bed mat, tailgate and race slicks on rear took it down to about 5100.

My last truck was 5900 full weight, nothing removed with spray in bedliner and hard tonneau.

So Id say stock, there about 5500-5600 give or take

    Thumbs up

Looks like with some more practice at the tree and maybe some traction bars and sticky tires or slicks to reduce tire spinning you should be in the 13's.

Then you can do some data logging and make more improvements to your tune and keep lowering the times by reducing the weight.

Definitely capable of getting into the 13's....I would say probably 13.6 if you can get a better launch & not spin to improve that 60ft.

Your starting like you should (with proper tires and traction bars)...wait till 2nd yellow and punch it.

Next time out, try holding RPM at 1000-1200 and roll into it to get rid of the spin to see what she does.

Also, did you do a burnout? If you did, don't on stock tires. Go around the water box and get ready to go.
