What headunits is everyone running? most importantly who has one that you can customize, i have seen a couple with new backgrounds. i am going to be coming into a few bucks, so i am trying to upgrade the stock unit.

kennwood, but not too happy with it
Do a search. Merlin has one with the 100th anniversary HD logo as his background.
I believe most of the newer head units have the ability to import any graphic file via a USB flash drive.
Which Kenwood?...I'm looking to change mine out to the Kenwood 9990hd
Currently...
I hate headunits, I use a 7v pre-out EQ for a volume knob and use my iphone as the audio source.
belkin bluetooth kit with handsfree + audio streaming, and I have a dock connector usb charger + line out plug for the audio source that I use on longer drives where I want better quality audio and to keep the battery charged. Very simple setup and 1000x easier to use and better quality than my old pioneer f700bt was.

I have the kenwood DNX9990HD, it's has everything. It's taking time to get use to all of it's options. Looks very stylish in the dash!
Stocker here.

I've had alot of audio in all my vehicles. But someone is always wanting in them. I have a Blackwood 8" sub and Pioneer amp to install at some point. Im going to replace the sub with a shallow mount sub.

I have the Kenwood DNX9980HD with the anniversary plaque as my background I love it!!! As stated before though there are more features, settings, and options than you will ever know what to do with. Only complaint though is it seems a little slow on response time. May just be me being critical of an $1800.00 radio. Still wouldn't get rid of it for anything!
I have an alpine Iva w505
