Bad alternator?

This morning my truck turned on no problem, but when i got to work the start wasn't all that great. I pulled the battery cable off and the truck died so im guessing its the alternator. I jump started the truck but even with the truck on the windows wont work. Could it be the lack of power on the battery thats causing this even though the truck is on?? Or could i have burned out a fuse jump starting the truck?? I left the truck on for about 30-40 minutes turned it off and the battery is dead again. Alternator??

Let the truck sit for a while, windows started working now. The truck wont start but battery seemed to have gotten a bit of a charge while sitting there. Engine turned a bit compared to when i turned it off the first time

The main wire from the ignition solenoid to the alternator somehow came loose

Always get a small chuckle when I read a thread I haven't checked yet and find out the problem was solved by the OP before anyone else repsonded.

Glad to hear it was a simple easy fix.

yeah mine did the same awhile back thats what i was gona say freekin had me puzzled for a little bit.
