    Gauge read outs.

Hey gents, recently picked up an 02 HD and was wondering if my gauge read outs are accurate. Truck runs great and I have no issues, just curious if I'm getting accurate gauge read outs and if I'm where it needs to be. I'm new to SC engines so I'm curious as to how much in. Hg I should see at idle on the boost gauge and FP on FP gauge. Idle I see about 20 In. Hg. of vacuum and 31-32 PSI fuel. Fuel comes up to about 41 at WOT and I see about 10-11 psi of boost. Does that sound correct? Thanks!

Awesome thanks. My gauges are autometer, they look good IMO and match color wise at night, are they quality gauges though? I need to add an A/F, any others you guys feel are critical? Not trying to gauge out my interior, at the same time I know the factory dash gauges are insanely inaccurate and take drastic changes for readout. Does autometer make an AF in analog? If so where would you guys mount it? Mine are here

Not the most convenient places, but it works. Do they make a single pod for the A pillar?

    18-20 vac at idle....

FP 28lbs at idle.(with stock pumps) and around 32psi with aftermarket 255s.....FP is 1 for 1 rise...so at wot with 11lbs of boost you should see right at 41 lbs of FP.....

so you seem to be all good to go

Yes they do, I purchased one. I don't care for the fit or install. You can have it if you want it.

autometer's a/f gauge is not recommended if you want something accurate, their pro-comp boost and fuel pressure gauges are very accurate, however.

I use an Innovate G2 wideband gauge and it matches the autometer and stock gauges very well during the day. At night it lights up black background with white numbers so it does not match, but it doesn't bother me, it's the only gauge I pay attention to when going full throttle anyways.

for a comparison on 8 of the different widebands and why you should get one that can be calibrated and has a bad sensor detector built in, check this article -

I didn't "fit" as well as I would have liked.

Not sure how you can actually see the gauges unless the steering wheel is turned.

Our drivers seats have power buttons so that the height challenged guys can raise them all the way up and see these steering column pod gauges just fine.
