    also noticed that my trans temp is at 197 up 20 deg...

    The rear diff should take way less than 9qts, more like 3

    thanks blind.. I did an expsive F"up / rear end flush. Missed the part about the factory fill plug on the front side of the rear end.

    did you fill it in the top by the abs sensor???

    I read the directions wrong.. said to fill it to the top of the fill plug (missed the part about the factory one) drained it back down.. temp is down on the trans temp to 165

    Still just walkin past mine in the garage. Going to try and put some finishing touches on the engine bay (cleaning wise) for the GTG on Saturday here in north Texas. Otherwise I have no extra cash to do anything.
