I'm not 100% on too much from one point but it seams OK.
Interesting point. I was unable to find a rear door power point.
Someone chime in here if they have an answer or solution.

I installed these on the roll pan of a tahoe. Truck isn't mine just did the job
See Post #1the passengers kick panel. Connector C212. 16 pin connector. Pin 6. Black with Light Blue tracer.
In my case I ran two wires to the passenger kick panel....however...this process (below) also works
Run one hot wire from the light to the kick panel. (Connector C212. 16 pin connector. Pin 6)
Then take the ground lead from the light and run a small self tapping screw into the door and connect the ground wire to it.
This saves running two wires...but in my case I ran small flexible two lead speaker wire.
Both processes work fine.
----------------
Things learned...This one wire ground to door process will cause humming in the radio until the lights go off.
If you use this method I suggest turning off the radio until all doors are closed and the courtesy light are off.
Final Thoughts...Use the two strand speaker wire method & the courtesy lights won't cause the radio to hum.

Hey Merlin, when you connect the power wires to the C212 does the laser lights come on and goes off when you open and shut the door or do I need to get a switch or remote too
For me it goes on and off with the interior lights
