The trick I did was use flexible speaker wire and a plastic snake...it went right in.
Once in place I soldered the two wires to the light and I was done. 5 minutes.

even with all the ebrake metal in the way? passenger side was a breeze. its all complete. driver side not so much. im trying with a metal coat hanger. it gets thru the boot but no where to go once i reach the foot well.

coat hangers aren't flexible enough to work really well for snaking wires.

find a buddy who does low voltage wire installs like telco/coax/ethernet and borrow their fish tape, that stuff works great.

i eventually got it thru with the coat hanger it was snaggin in the ruuber boot cause the end was pointy. only driver side was hard. and my biggest problem is i have my doors sound deadened. so had to cut a hole for my arm and hanger. then no place for light to go thru.

Almost 2 years later and all but one light has crapped out. And the one that still works flashes on and off randomly. Checked connections and the power is still there just no lights working anymore. Gaaaaaay

How To install door LED Courtesy Lights

This is good to know. Can't you replace the LEDs themselves?
