Projectors 80% finished, wasn't expecting this though

I'm very close to finishing the projectors and did a quick test fit, I'm disappointed

    Haha here you guys go
Single projector on left with right side covered that just has plug and play kit in stock headlight

    Both on

    FAIL

    WIN

And my new set of projector fogs

    rockon_ford

Before with both headlights with plug and play installed

After with both headlights with retrofit installed

Just one foglight on and no headlights lol

Did you use theretrofitsource.com or just pulled em and figured out the wiring on your own?

Can you post links to what you purchased? I did a projector retrofit to my tahoe but they don't work nearly as good. I had to use pretty small projectors though because of how narrow the headlights are on those trucks.

Still was a huge upgrade in light output compared to stock though.

One of the reasons you're probably not seeing output like mine is because of the lense you have on. You need a clear lense to have themax output, otherwise the lense is distorting the output. Ill post up links of what I used later on in the day though

Probably, but I hate the way the clear lenses made for that gen chevy truck look so I just used the stock ones...The cutoff line from them is perfect so I don't think the lenses are doing that much to the output.

Yeah, Iwas going to ask something similar.

Which exact housings did you use? Something like a Depot housing and then do you then bolt or glue in the BMW projector part?

Those projectors are point less. Only the highs are projectors and the lows are halogens. I got lightning headlights off eBay, cut a hole in the back to test fit the projector, then I bolted them on. Now I'm trying to find how to seal the rest of the hole on back.
