    Where's my power at?

What's up guys. Been doing a lot of reading and have notice people saying they're blowing their tires off in first gear with less mods than me. Mods are intake/elbow/mid pipe/exhaust/ L upper pulley/4# lower. IC pump is operating. I see 11.4-11.1 AFR at WOT. What should I start checking? I have no belt slip either..thoughts?

what kind of tires do you have? ****ty tires are a lot easier to spin than good ones, doesn't make the car fast.

    Where's my power at?

275 eagle GTIIs. I can mash it at a stop light and they barely chirp. I'm just curious as to why people can smoke em down and I can't. I also have a VB or line pressure raised ( PO didn't know mods, I'm just making a guess cause the shifts are firm) and people say they bark 2nd. I'm just curious if I'm low on power and don't know it.

Doesn't sound right to me, how did you verify the intercooler pump as working?

The tune could be extremely conservative with very little timing, it is running pretty rich from the sounds of it. I would datalog it and check the short term fuel trims + timing on a WOT run once it's up to running temp.

I opened the IC reservoir to see if the fluid was circulating. I don't know much about the tune other than being a diablo chip for the PCM. AFR sounds pretty good to me IMHO. Timing may be getting pulled.

Do you have an Oil Seporator? When is the last time you cleaned the Intercooler? Do you have the right plugs for the pulleys you have? Dirty/clogged intercooler and incorrect gap/plugs can rob power.

I don't know. I only run 93 octane. The tune is a diablo chipped PCM. I don't think I can datalog it. If I can, I certainly don't know how

I also noticed I could road the stock tires from a roll stock ... but when I went to the wider 22's and a 6# lower , the Goodyear versions stick like glue.

Have you dynod it before? ---

I have not. When I got it it needed tires and an alignment, and last week I blew a plug in the head, so, I've basically performed maintenance since I've owned it. I'm at draggin rights and there's a Lightning guru out here (88mm Turbo+a shot, he's quick) and was chatting with him an he said it sounds like I have an extremely safe tune and very low timing.

Yes TR6 is good for what you have. .036 gap and torque them down to 13ft lbs
