    emergency brake pedal pad installl

    I need some help, instuctions on how to install the stainless steel pad for the emergency brake pedal.
    I tried lube, rubber hammer, pliers. should I trim the sqaure rubber retainer, or heaat it up, or maybe I need to eat more cheerios and press harder?

    back in the day. i left mine in the hot sun all day. lubed it up w/dawn. and slide it on there.

    Leave the truck and the cover in the sun on a HOT day!
    I trimmed a little rubber off to if I remember right. I tried for 2 or 3 days to put mine on, after the hot day trick it slipped right on. Shinitzu grease helps too.

    I trimmed some of the rubber square off and it made it alot easier.

    I put some black sealant/adhesive on mine Saturday, we'll see how it holds.
