    Daily Driver

**** EDIT **** See thread below for update on daily driver.

Now that my engine build is finally complete and I have done everything I wanted to my truck... she is finally going to become a garage queen and only be driven on nice sunny days.

625 rwhp power, huge cams and daily driving = lots of money spent on gas!

So.... I finally decided to get myself a daily driver. Best part.... what I was spending on gas for the beast... more than pays for the daily driver, gas and insurance.

Mercedes Benz SLK 280 - Luxury, meets performance and comfort. I have to say.... I think I have fallen in love!

Nice!!!! It is such a great feeling to have a 600+ hp truck in the garage waiting for a sunny day and having a nice DD to drive. Welcome to the club!!!!

Thanks buddy. Looking forward to keeping the miles off the truck and not having to wash it all the time.
Yes officer... I am aware of how fast I was going!

Sheridan! ... a "Chick's-car"?!!! My daughter wants one really bad! As a long-time/multiple-model Benz owner? ... I am certain you will end-up "graduating" very soon! [Hide:]

Nothing "chick' about this car. Sporty, roomy, luxurious, with all the bells and whistles, and great gas mileage. Perfect daily driver as far as I am concerned.
I already own a 4 door sedan... don't need another one. When I do.... I am sure it will be a Mercedes.

    So you are partially correct.

    pretty good upgrade

I've sold 2 of my toys this year (cobra + tahoe) so I'm in the market for a alternative to driving my truck. Leaning heavily towards a `15 wrx. $25k price quote, and according to fuelly.com records of other owners, easily capable of 34mpg on highway drives (which is all I do when driving as I ride a bike to work daily).

LOL...how many days of the year will you get to ride your bike to work with the ice/snow in Colorado? I'd get the WRX. My son had one and they are super fun.
