What's an IP?
IP stands for Internet Protocol. That is usually the IP v4 "internet address" of the device that is communicating.
Just like your home "postal address" the IP address defines where the communication originates and is delivered.
The most common IP address type is IP version 4. These four octets resemble the Country, State, City & House.

I think mine was hacked too, I have a lot of email notices but I haven't sent any, this, Craigslist, weather, and Facebook is all I've looked at since Friday.
