Can anyone tell me how much a leveling kit costs? My truck is stock and I want to level the rear to the front. Can I do it on my own or do I need to take it somewhere? Thanks

wait, you wanna raise the front? or lower the rear?
To lower the rear level with the front, you just need some 2" shackles. Pretty cheap, these ones would work Ford 97 F150 F 150 1"or 2" Rear Drop lowering Kit Shackles Shackle 2WD 4x2 | eBay
Install is not very difficult at all. Its just 2 bolts each, should only take about 1 hour to install both.
Thanks sonic

Welcome to the site Lane.
Something like this should work for you https://www.ebay.com/itm/Crown-Suspe...lR--so&vxp=mtr
I would ho with the JLP they have better bushings and mor drop. I went with others and then got the JLP more drop better product. http://www.jlpracing.com/lightning-shackle-kit
Just remember cheap isn't alwqays good!!!!
I don't know what year we are working on here, but on my 03 Belltech shackels did not make me level, the JLP got me very close. I had Belltech on my 01 supercrew and after a few years the busings were bad, when you made a tight turn you could see the springs moving to the side, this has to make for an ill handeling truck. The longer the shackel the more strain is put on them, I actually added a panhard bar to keep everything centered up this time, truck drives like it's on a rail.
Thanks for your help Derek.

If I lower rear with shackles 2”, do I need shims and or shock extenders?
Front will remain stock. Thx!
No all should be fine. You will only get about one inch of actual body drop drop with two inch longer shackles. Remember you are only changing the rear by two inches so the center will be approximate half of that.
