Need help guys! Need a driveshaft

Carrier bearing hanger has lost all the rubber and needed to be replaced. My mechanic stripped the threads where the bolt holding the bearing in is. I don't want to buy a new driveshaft from ford $990. Any suggestions? I've looked all over

I'd go with a one piece driveshaft but that's out of my price range.

Ive been in contact with him since day one. Parts have to be ordered and it'll take at least a week to arrive. He's going to charge me around 500-600 to rebuild my driveshaft
