    Lightning swap

    Hi all,
I need help. The 90 degree fitting from the bottom back of the supercharger, where does it go?
Also at the back of the blower on the passenger looks like a 1/2 inch hole, what go there?
And drivers side top of blower there are 2 places for hoses to go. I know one is for the brake booster but not sure what the other is for.
I know they may be dumb questions but I know someone knows the answer, please help

    Cheers

Maybe you could take a pic or to show which you are asking about, or maybe this will help you:

Now you're asking about direct connections to the blower, I hope you mean the plenum as the only connections to the blower are the plenum and the intercooler...I hope this helps you

Ok thank you. Where the iac is located straight down their is a drilled factory hole pointing towards the battery where the blower connects to the intercooler . I will get a picture soon.
    Thanks again

Ok thanks. I don't see anything going to the hole I was talking about. If you look at the label on your heater hose, then the base of the blower that what I was asking about.

I think a picture from you at this point would be really helpful, as I didn't label any heater hoses, and you have described it now 3 different ways.
Here is one more pic with labels this time labeling all the lines that are near the blower now. But please take a pic with your phone and send it to your email then upload it, would make things a lot easier for us to help you.

Okay, I went out an looked again. And took pictures...

I believe this is the hole that you are speaking about:

As you can see, this hole is not used on my HD, though it is only about 1/2" deep at the most. It is sealed inside. Hope it helps. If at least you can save the pictures I took and ask the L guys, cause I don't know if yours is sealed or not.

SoCal Walte. I noticed that you are using a factory type clutch fan. Can I use a 2001 lightning clutch and reuse my harley fan?

I imagine it will work just fine that way, but you might want to call a Ford Dealership Parts department, and compare part numbers between the '02 HD and an '01 L clutch, and the '00 HD & '02 HD Fan....I imagine they are all the same p/n's...I would just confirm if I were in your shoes. I would hate to just assume, to only later find out that you don't have the ability to keep your ride cool...just my
