Thanks for all the suggestions. I did check the door panel, drove with it off. The sound is definitely coming from either under the dash which I doubt or suspension part. I am thinking maybe the sway bar frame mount bushing.

I have new ones on order.

Funny thing is we just got out cold weather ( Florida) and this morning it did not rattle as much. I think maybe the rubber ( if that is the problem) tightens up due to the weather reducing the rattle.

My thought is if I have to pull the sway bar to test this, I might as well replace it with new Poly bushings.

If this is not the issue, I might just give up and take it to a dealer.

If you think its the sway bar bushings then just unbolt the endlinks, and then check the play. If you think the endlink then unbolt it from the sway bar and wiggle it around there to see if it make any noise. You shouldn't have to pull the sway bar though.

I've heard bad idler pullies rattle like that. Also my Lightning had a broken leaf on the driver side. Very top one. I would have bet my life the noise was coming from up front but it was that leaf.

I had a crazy rattle that I couldn't figure out for a long time until I realized my wife had dropped some crap into the pocket on side of the center console, I think it was a bracelet lol

Took me about 2 months to find it!

I figured out what the problem was. It was the air filter bracket rattling against the air filter.

I have a cone style filter so I added some rubber around the the metal part.

I guess it was positioned just right that it would rattle on bumps and once in while start ups.

    Thanks for all your help
At least I got new sway bar bushings and links along with upper control arms.
