Most of us use Photobucket and just cut & paste the "IMG" into the post.

The only change would be the "From URL tab" starting at about 3:05 - a check box to "Retrieve remote file and reference locally".

I would leave the unchecked for a few reasons...

    * No point copying if you're using Photobucket.
    * Less storage on the NHTOC server/website.
    * Use [IMG] tag to keep NHTOC costs down.
    * Use Photobucket's bandwidth for pictures.

    Scenario:
Let's say in your post composition you "try out" and check a couple of different pictures to see which one looks best.
What has happened is that every pic you have "tried out"/checked has been copied to the NHTOC server storage area.

So to keep NHTOC storage (and sometimes useless storage) & bandwidth down I prefer linking to the remote site pic.

    I'm back. It's been over 10 years

Just thought about this group. So figured who was still on the forum? It's been 10 years since I first posted on here. I still have my 2002 HD. I have 150k now on it and still drive it daily!
