    Will it hurt the value?

I am thinking of removing my orange stripe at the top of the bed and getting it painted on.. I want to paint it the same color as my 2011 street glide .. It's Sedona orange .. And I want to add the chrome Harley Davidson lettering that goes on top of the bed.. So you think removing the factory Harley decal will affect the value? I think being painted on would be much cleaner and the chrome lettering looks awesome ... This is what I have now

I wouldnt think it would be a problem value wise. Id rather have it painted on than a sticker.

yup I doubt it'll hurt it one bit since you're keeping it OEM style. They aren't collectors trucks unless they're kept in a garage, bone stock, never driven, never modded, and then wait for a few decades. If you drive it, mod it, enjoy it, and don't have it in a bubble for 20-30 years, then do what you want with it, it won't hurt the value doing tasteful mods like that.
