    Helper bags with shackles

I found from searching on here that this part # air ride kit works with our trucks when lowered with shackles -
Amazon.com: AIR LIFT 59103 Slam Air Adjustable Air Spring Kit: Automotive

Are there any alternatives or anything else I should get at the same time? Just getting tired of my 305's rubbing the fender flares in the back when I have a load in the bed, but I don't want to lift the truck up higher on the shackles

Looks like a decent kit. There are alternatives. Check out autoanything.com. Looks like they actually have the Bag same kit for a few buck less. But they don't have the same controller thats on amazon.

Beyond that I can't help, I only know big rig air ride systems.

I don't see the 'slam air' 59103 on autoanything's website anywhere, which is the one for lowered trucks.

They only list the 59501 "Does not work with lowered vehicles"
Air Lift Air Bag Suspension Kits - Videos & 635+ Reviews on Air Lift LoadLifter Air Bags for Towing - Ride Control, 1000 & 5000 Ultimate Install

newegg also lists the 59103 for a little cheaper, but amazon's 2 day prime shipping for free and 30 day no question pre-printed picked up at my door return's makes it worth the extra to me.

So did you ever get this? If yes, did you install it yet and how do you like it?

    Kevin,

I have had the AirLift Slam Air on my truck (down 3") for several years. Is great helper bag system for when towing something. They need to be kept at 15lbs and pumped up during towing. Since I seldom use the truck for towing, I did not install the on-board pump ... I inflate them individually. Is a bit of time to do so with compressor but not a biggee since I only do so very seldom. AirLift is the best system out there!
