Wife got a new ride
Bought it sight unseen from out of state, got it delivered via enclosed trailer through my buddy who runs a transport company -
And I tore it apart the following weekend with less than 100 miles on it, lol
I am not a smart man!
Nah I was just installing a stealth hitch on it, the factory hitch offered is a 1.25" and costs $700...no thanks, this one is a 2", hides away better when not in use and was $250 + $30 for the 4 pin wiring harness.
Bike rack fits, lets go ride!
It's a 2014 subaru forester XT touring, 2.0L direct injected turbo. It's a hoot and drives really nice, gets 28mpg cruising along at 80mph and is pretty fast even completely stock, I can't wait until some mods come out for this new motor (same as 2015 WRX). I bet with just a tune it would be killer!
She's going to be living in CO for a year and her 2008 mustang gt convertible is not exactly a great car for a place that has 7 months of snow, especially since she's never driven in snow and lived in SoCal her whole life. Didn't feel confident sending her out there with our `96 tahoe...so sold both of those and got her this, she's happy with it, the moonroof is so massive that combined with how great the visibility is out of this thing she says it's almost like being in a convertible

for the moment yes, she has a 1 year internship. If it turns into a postdoc/permanent thing than I would move out there too.

Nice addition. Those Forester's are pretty nice. My son had an WRX STi and Suburu turbo's kick ***! (but not my truck!)

Good luck, my friend had nothing but nightmares with his 2011. They replaced the trans, motor and turbo

I couldn't care less, all those parts are completely different on this one and that's what the 6 year warranty is for, lol.
