Easier
if you want more than the 6lb and tune is giving you, I think the next step really is a kennebell or whipper charger upgrade, and then save what you can for being able to rebuild the bottom end of the engine to handle more power. If you have longtubes and 6lb lower the truck is probably in the neighborhood of 400rwhp/500rwtq right now, getting more than 450rwhp is really on the edge with stock rods in the lower end.
2002 DSG HD #09617 NHTOC Truck of the month November 2012
Ported eaton/plenum/tb, 6lb lower, SCT BA-2600 MAF, OBX longtubes, JLP intake, FTVB, L-spec bilsteins, Hotchkis TVS, 22" replicas. Tuned by Ray McClelland of FTK
Alright thanks Blind
210 do the plate swap
I wouldn't bother with 4.10 gears. Not to much different than 3.73.

I'm looking to do some racing against my brothers ram srt10. Will those gears help me get up and go? I'll be going to Houston in July to put his truck to shame lol but I need further modding but I'm not rich so nothing crazy
Also I have a stock pully on my sc. I'm putting a #6 lower pully will a 68.5 belt be the right one for my truck?
4.10's are good if you dont ever plan on going built with big power. A stock block bolt on truck can benefit greatly from 4.10's.
Not any time soon at least I'll just keep my old gears just in case.
Lol maybe I'll fill it up with rocks instead.
