Newbie to the forum. Vet to owning one of these trucks. I am the original owner of an '02. She's my baby. She's been my daily and I've kept her basically stock other than a Superchips tuner, K&N intake and NGK plugs. This year, I decided to make her a little nastier. Changed the blower pulley to a 2.8 (with a tensioner), and took out the cats with a Bassani off-road H-pipe that still allows for oxygen sensors. Stock muffler is still in place, which sounded great to me when I had cats. But in my opinion it's just not tuned for that much airflow and at certain RPMs it sounds sloppy. I've done a lot of research and listened to a lot of U-Tube clips, comparing Flowmasters to Dynamax to Magnaflow. Seems like the vets here know their stuff. I'm definitely going with Magnaflow!

Sr81, you are propably running the 22 which is the long one. Are you running all of your cats? I like the way your truck sounds and am thinking of doing the same.

Magnaflow cat-back with two cat H-pipe here (it didn't throw a CEL either). It sounds good. It's not too loud until you get on it. Then it opens up and gets some attention. But some of that could be the KB too. I dyno'd it before and after the exhaust install. I didn't pick up any HP and only 5 TQ. That was pre-KB install. I'm assuming the KB is benefiting more from the exhaust than the Eaton did.

Yep. Still have all the cats. The plan is to go to 2 HF at some point.

went with the 18 inch and it is louder then stock I think I like it so far. Nothing beats the sound of being able to here a V8 rumble and supercharger whine.

I like the sound of that. What size Magnaflow is that? They make an 18, 20 and 22 I believe. Do you still have the cats on?
