exhaust sounds pretty good. But are you sure that truck is supercharged? lol

haha I was wondering that watching his burnout vid. All tire squeal, no blower whine

haha, I can't remember my truck ever having a quiet supercharger, damn ported everything.
At least it was a decent burnout

I hate you guys...
I installed the jdm silver bullet exhaust. Loud enough for me... No drone!

Does your muffler have an internal x-pipe or is it straight thru? I've got shorty headers, no primary cats, Magnaflow post cats - mine drones pretty good and sounds terrible under WOT.
Edit - found out the 12468/14468 are both a recommended replacement from their website, both are internally x-piped, but they're also both 18" bodies. I'm curious what the part # is for the 22" body.
Edit 2 - 12568/14568 are both 22" body - https://www.magnaflow.com/automotive...rough/products
Muffler length will affect sound, will it really affect power as well? I mean it's a straight through design, so that's like saying converting my truck from side exit to rear exit will reduce power since I'm adding length.

I have stock exhaust except for a two cat H-pipe. Just doing that made it quit a bit louder and sound much better. My kids tell me they know when I'm home because they can hear the truck before I even turn the corner to go down my street. And that's in the neighborhood so I'm only going 10-15mpg, no hot rodding or anything.

Exhaust question for the masses.
Stock muffler is a 5x8 oval w/ an 18" body. I've currently got a no-name muffler (which leaks due to rust) in a 5x11 oval w/ a 22" body. I'm curious if you guys think I should install a Magnaflow in an 18" ($55) or 22" ($136) to reduce sound...mind you mine leaks and it's no-name, but I'm wondering if better quality and without leaking means I could goto an 18" and be quieter or just not risk it and just order a 22"?
I've got the 18" Magnaflow on mine and its louder than I like. I also have the Magnaflow cat pipe so that adds to the sound. Suggest you go with the larger muffler.
Noted, thanks
