Well they are picking the truck up today and taking it to Advanced Driveline
I'm going to let them install, check the drive shafts, put them on the balancer
make sure they are spot on and check the universal joints while it's up in the air.

So tomorrow I get the word on the new carrier bearing as to how it works out.

Advanced Driveline is a good company, they can make a carrier bearing, but it's expensive, about $280 was the quote fo just the part.
so hopefully this works, I'll post up the results good or bad.

Well took it to Advanced, they said the Chevy cross reference carrier wouldn't work,
that I got from Powertrain Industries, they made one up for me and it's cost was less
than the carrier from Powertrain, about $80,

Had them rebalance the drive shafts, and align them properly, installed new bearing carrier $297

Ran it up to 80 on the interstate nice quiet and smooth.

I understand this post is more than a few years old but I am posting in hopes to help out someone going thru this. I have a 2002 and ordered from O'Reilly, AutoZone, Discount and NAPA. They all assured fit but none worked. They advised to buy entire rear assembly quoted roughly $1200. My final attempt before putting that much money on a 16 year old truck was to call Powertrain Industries. Provided them the discontinued part #F75Z-4800-BB and they shipped a part that they said would fit. The appearance is slightly different but it worked like a charm. Downside is there is no warranty for the part, cost roughly $110 with overnight shipping. There is a dust shield came off after first week, but is not affecting functionality.
I know its old but I freaking love the truck and dont really want to get rid of it.

Currently going through this on my truck. On my 2003 Harley f150 i just removed the bearing and its I.D. is 1.379" and 1" wide. Looks to be either the HB88107A or 107B bearing. Appears only slight variation in the shape of the rubber surround. From what i can tell there are many options depending on when it was built.

Several people here have stated that they used the HB88107A on previous posts. I have that in my notes that I have kept.

Will it be better if you create a new post rather than using an old one which has been inactive since August 2018?
