I have Bilstiens on both of mine, and would recommend them. But I do street 100% driving, and have no idea how they will handle off road.

I wouldn't go with lightning spec bilsteins, they would be rather rough off road. I've driven quite slowly down some fire roads to get to remote mountain bike trailheads in my truck and it beats you up pretty good.

I imagine the super crew spec bilsteins would be pretty good, better control than the stock shocks for sure but not as harsh/stiff as the lightning spec's.

Yeah, the part numbers for the Super Crew spec Bilsteins have changed and been superseded with different numbers over the years and even if the site lists them they are usually out of stock.

These HPS series are what is popular and is showing up in stock on most sites for the HD trucks.

Good luck finding NOS for the other ones.
