Welcome brother
Welcome brother
Welcome to the site
I did take a few pictures. They look about like all the others on this site and the Lightening site. The intercooler was dirty but when I held it up to the lights in my shop, I could still see through it. It's 14 years old and only has 76k miles on it.
I used 5 cans of brake cleaner to clean the intercooler.
One member suggested that I plug the hole in the Turkey Pan, but after getting everything off, and seeing where the thing was, I chose not to try and unscrew that part. The hose that goes to that fitting did have a hole in it. I replaced the hose, then used the cap that came with the L&S oil separator to plug the end of the line.
I replaced the plugs while I had everything off. It wasn't that bad. The entire job wasn't too bad, just time consuming.
One of my friends suggested that I replace the coil packs while I had it torn apart. I chose not to do that. I should have listened to him. I ended up replacing all of them last night. I could have just replaced the one, but I am sort of picky about things. I chose to replace all of them.
