    New member from Arkansas

I purchased my HD off the showroom floor back in '02. It's bone stock.

I came across this site after searching for P0171 code. After looking through the forums, I see that I am way past due to clean the intercooler and change the spark plugs.

There is lots of good information on this site.

Thanks. Browsing through this site, I can see that it would be easy to get fired up about adding mods to the HD. I have thought about adding a few basic modifications over the years but never have.

I've thought about a few mods over the years but talk myself out of it. I still may end up putting a magnaflow exhaust system on it. I've thought about changing out the lower pulley. I've got another truck in the garage as my "toy".

LOL! Yeah, based on what I've been reading, everyone can sure help spend your money. I've got to finish my other project before spending "fun" money on this.

If it were me...my first mod would be an L&S Oil separator. Then cleaning the intercooler.
If you are "thinking" about changing the lower pulley and plugs, do it while the I/C is apart.

I've already got the L&S Oil separator. This weekend I'm going to clean the intercooler and change the plugs. I'll install the oil separator then.
